For P's christening gown my Mom and I used a combination of our wedding dress fabrics to create something special. The brocade from my wedding dress (that my Mom also made) was the underlay and the lace from my Mom's dress was the bodice and overlay. Since so many of our mothers' and grandmothers' wedding dresses are stained or outdated (no offense Mom!), it is the perfect way to bring them back to life...
