Rehearsal Bouquet

I have yet to find out the history behind the bride's rehearsal bouquet, but it's made with ribbons and bows from shower gifts. I tried to make my sister's as realistic as possible, using pipe cleaners to form the bouquet. For ribbons like the Crate and Barrel one, I gathered the ribbon with a running stitch along one edge and pulled tight to form a bow. Once I got all of the ribbons and bows in place, I twisted more pipe cleaners around the base to secure the bouquet. I used a blue satin ribbon to wrap the handle and held it in place with pearl push pins.
