Often times I get so focused on the necessities of decorating (i.e. furniture, bedding, appliances) that I'm exhausted by the time I get to the details. Both mentally and monetarily! When I found Herve Pierre's house on The Selby, I was reminded of how much fun decorating should be! Why not tie a ribbon on top of your artwork? Or pin your photos and keepsakes to a lampshade? Make something as ordinary as a roll of toilet paper look chic in an miniature antique chair. From now on I'm taking cues from Herve, to live with the things you love and make them your own...If it's the little things that count in life, why shouldn't that be true with decorating!
