Many designers drew inspiration from the 1950s for their Fall Collections. Ladylike silhouettes strutted the runways in pencil skirts and belted dresses, and they even showed a little décolletage, which is unheard of in a world of stick thin models! I'm thrilled to see the classics reappear this fall, especially with a modern twist. With Dior's New Look, Balenciaga's Suits, and Chanel's Comeback, the 1950s is definitely a decade worth revisiting!
