(Table)Cloth Napkins

When it comes to cloth napkins, there are so many fun options to choose from. Geometric, batik, floral, monogrammed...I adore them all! For everyday meals and messes, I prefer making ours out of vintage tablecloths. It is a great way to reuse fabric and each one makes anywhere from 4-8 napkins. Scrounge the flea markets, dig in your granny's linen closet, or browse online to find some you like. As for the sewing, it doesn't get much easier than this!
Figure out which parts of the tablecloth you want to use and work around any stains, which generally accumulate in the center. Cut the tablecloth (I did 20 inch squares) and fold each side under twice to conceal the raw edge. I did a narrow hem, about 1/8th of an inch.
