I know you've all been dying to know which shade of green I chose for our dining room chairs. To be honest, it was a lot harder than I anticipated. I brought home so many paint chips that I swore would be THE ONE but they quickly became bookmarks and make-believe train tickets. Not until I stumbled across an old Henri Matisse book at the library did I finally find the right shade. I love all the colors Matisse used in his interiors, especially the greens. The paint color I finally chose, Agave by Benjamin Moore (a little brighter in person), complements all of the bold hues in his paintings. My favorite thing about this green is that it looks great with colors and neutrals alike. Now if only the sun would start shining so I can get outside and paint!
