The best part about making clothes for Pearl is that it takes hardly any fabric at all. It also makes cleaning out scraps nearly impossible! I'm loving skirts for her because they're easy to throw on with tights and a turtleneck and then sandals and tank tops when it warms up. I've had this striped fabric leftover since college and found some brown leather buttons to go with it...
For this one, I was able to scrounge up enough scraps from pillows to make a gathered skirt with pockets and bows. I kid you not, when I showed it to her she said "That's what I'm talking about."
