My days of wearing cut-off shorts are numbered, so when the weather warms up I must take advantage! I usually only wear them at the beach or by the pool but they're one of my favorite sunny staples. I'm always searching for a brand new pair but vintage seems like the way to go. These Wranglers were mom jeans to the max (circa 1990) and make perfect high-waisted cut-offs. The key is to look for jeans with extra room in the thigh area and allow an inch or so for fraying. Mine just came out of the wash and are going straight into my packing pile for the weekend!!
