

There's a million different ways to frame butterflies, but for this project I kept it pretty simple. Instead of using the real deal, I found these silk butterflies in the floral department at Michael's. I used liquid leaf to paint over the black plastic parts and added a little detail to the wings...

Once they were dry, I mounted the butterflies onto watercolor paper and framed them in a basic black shadowbox. Not much to it!
