Slowly but surely, pink is making its way into Pearl's closet. We picked out this cotton batik for her 1st day of school dress and she wore it with her pink Moccasin Boots. The giraffe lunchbox was a splurge from SoYoung (I couldn't resist!) and it comes with a handy strap.
Since it's still so hot and humid, I made a short dress with small flutter sleeves and a gold button on the back.
This block print came with a border printed along the selvedge so I used it as trim for the hem. I only needed 1 yard (at $5/yard!) and there was enough fabric leftover for a matching doll dress!!

Such a cute ensemble! That fabric made up so cute, love the border! And the pink moccasins are precious.
What is your source for that fabric! It's great. I love how you used the selvedge for the border.
Thank you! It's from Fabric Treasury on Etsy!
The dress turned out super cute!
