It's at this point in the season that I start to tire of my everyday wardrobe. Since stores are quickly replacing their summer sale racks with fall ones, options are somewhat limited. Working with what I already have at this point (sundresses) and what I need for fall (sweaters) I think the dress/cardigan ensemble is a perfect option. The trick to wearing cardigans with dresses, without looking frumpy, is the hemline. Choose a cardigan that falls a few inches above your dress and opens enough in front to show your waistline. Throw on a pair of wedges and you're set!
Swap your sundress for sequins and a pair of booties for the fall!
