I love silver and gold for the holidays. It's festive without being over-the-top, in your face Christmas AND I don't mind it being left out until New Year's! I pulled out all my decorations from years' past and revamped them with spray paint and a little hot glue. First up, I spray painted a plain brown wreath in antique gold spray paint and added silver and gold balls (I think they came from Michael's in the fake floral section?) I used fabric to hang it over the mirror and the pineapple sconces on either side got matching bow ties...
For Pearl's wreath I was going for the Emily Thompson look, although Will has informed me it looks more like a bird's nest. Oh well! I used left over curly willow, formed it into a ring, and spray painted it metallic silver...
I tied it with velvet ribbon and hung it over her mirror with Granny's vintage Christmas ornaments...
Bust out the spray paint!!

LOVE THEM.
Meant to tell you.... went to a Christmas party last weekend at a FABULOUS house. The hostess was extremely creative like you. She had spray painted twig wreaths gold and tied burlap around them for the bows. I told her you had done something similar. Great minds think alike!
