Aprons used to be more of a necessity than a fashion statement but they've been making a comeback in the kitchen and I love them! They make great gifts since 1 size fits all and they can always be put to good use, even if you're just doing the dishes! I make mine out of vintage linens like tea towels and table runners that my Mom has been collecting over the years. You can use just about anything and since they require very little fabric, it's a great way to salvage old tablecloths that have holes and stains. I like the 1/2 aprons because they are easy to throw on and don't ruin your outfit if you're dressed for a dinner party!
